Who was Jmari?
Questionmark JMari Jeremiah Johnson aka "Mari" was a very young boy who loved going to the park to ride his bycle. Feisty at times, and often described as a young kid all grown up, his favorite toy in the world was Bob The Builder.

For his age, he was a real go-getter and never liked shoes.
He owned two pet dogs, powder and daisy and his best buddy in the world,
was his cousin Brekien. He loved both of his parents dearly.

In March of 2008 JMari’s life was cut too short and too soon as he slipped outside
unnoticed, and drowned in a backyard swimming pool at the age of two.

Our goal is to Educate & Promote Awareness to save the lives of our beloved ones. Due to the untimely death of J’Mari Johnson who drowned in a swimming pool at the age of 2, the organization was formed to get more parents and their children to partake in pool safety and swimming. J’Mari’s friends are the victims who have also passed since J’Mari’s death.

 Founded by Shirley Harold, The JMari & Friends Foundation is an Organization formed to raise awareness to save the lives of our beloved ones. Our goal is to Educate & Promote Awareness to save the lives of our beloved ones. Too many children in our community are drowning and too many adults don’t know how to swim.
